ex boyfriend wanted me back

I had a dream that my ex boyfriend from 15 years wanted me back. He changed became more mature and wanted me back. I had broken up with him irl because he had been really imnature, controlling, and stalked me. I told him I was tired of waiting, but I'm not sure if that was just in regards to him wanting me back or in general waiting for a man. I was wearing an olive green jacket that I don't own irl with a hood and black leather sleeves. It was raining.

I have a sneaky suspicion about what this is about but I wanted some Insight.

Hi Ragdoll, Please feel free to disregard my interpretation if it doesn't feel right. I get the impression that this ex-boyfriend is not the person you left 15 years ago. He has actually matured some, but not enough for you to feel safe and fulfilled. The fact that the jacket is olive green, typically a color associated with the military, indicates to me that you have become very disciplined in seeking certain things in life and not settling for less. Yes, this guy ended up, for a lack of a better term, stole a mutual friends wife out from under him. Even if she did file for divorce, they snuck around and he basically ruined his friendship. And now this woman is paying his mortgage for him!

Ironically, he and my ex guide have the same name. :/
