Dreams of Warrior/Smith

In the past two weeks, I have had two different yet interconnected dreams. Both of these dreams were strikingly vivid. In the first dream, I saw myself as a large man clad in leather armor. I had long brown hair and was wearing warpaint. I fearlessly charged into combat with three men, with my sword drawn, but was struck down after a few minutes of fighting. In the second dream, I saw myself in a mirror, as I am in this lifetime -- my reflection then transformed into the aforementioned individual. I then saw myself near my home on the outskirts of a village. I got the sensation that I produced weapons for a living. There was also a disembodied voice (a guide perhaps) that stated, "this lifetime took place during the Bronze Age."

Sounds like you are recalling a past life through your dreams. It has happened to me in that way too, minus the disembodied voice.

Keep telling yourself you will see more before going to sleep. I also used meditation to help remember more. It can take a bit of time before getting more info, but it's always fun to know.

In my experience there has always been a reason for recalling past lives: why I like some thing(s) so much or why I have a specific issue. You can only grow through it, just don't get too caught up in the archetype you relive.

I have to assume that this past life has revealed itself for a reason -- that I can apply some aspect of it to my current life. Perhaps I need to embrace my "inner warrior" and be stronger and more courageous in this lifetime.

I believe you got the message right. Once you do that, the rest will come much easier. By embracing what you are, or were (same thing), you open the door to the whole world behind that door; you open a door to the rest of what you are.

I am primarily a spaceship pilot and I have been feeling so much better since I have embraced that, let me assure you. There were steps before that, like taking up medieval sword fight classes once I embraced the fact that I had been a warrior, but embracing each of these identities has been a real blessing. And you don't need to suffer one bit while living out what these identities may push you to do, it is about integrating what has been locked out and not about re-living past events in this life (although you might re-live them in meditation or dreams).
