Is there a difference between obe and astral? I always ask this question but I never really got an answer.

I guess it deponds on who you ask . To me an out of body exp. and astral projection are the same . Some believe that you go to different parts of the astral in an o.b.e. and when you astral project.

Well you will get lots of different replies to this, methinks....

In my opinion, it's all 'out-of-body' stuff, whether you're on the Real Time Zone (that astral plane right next to the Earth plane) or whether you go deeper, and out on the further astral levels.
To me, it's all 'the astral' but different levels of it.

I remember some making about the same post on astral pulse , its been some time back . As to where one goes and what one sees while out of body ( a.p. , o.b.e. , or n.d.e.s ) I think it deponds on what one wants to see , and there personal beliefs . 2 of many other a.p. forums . I read that AP is a form of OBE, so I guess a NDE would be another?

Michael Raduga (obe4u.com) says that OBE, lucid dreaming and astral projection are one and the same.

With an N.D.E. the body is dead , but is brought or comes back to life . With an N.D.E. most people see with in there belief system , God , Jesus , heaven , or hell , ect. There is also remote viewing , a form of mind projection , some think this is a form of astral projection , others think its compleetly different .

I didn't think this was a contested idea. Astral is "seeable", life-like realms. Others talk about RTZ --I lump them all. If you see/hear/feel as you do on Earth, it's astral.

There are "other places" you can go that are of experience, but not necessarily of our five-sense type. OBE, as a term, includes those places.

So I use OBE instead of astral projection.
