Cats are very independent animals, although they can also be very affectionate. The photos say it all. Maybe the cat in the article didn't enjoy the wedding, but our dog Puce loved going the wedding of my older son and being dressed up in ribbons - and gettings lots of "titbits" at the wedding meal! She even pushed between the bride and groom in one of the photographs. Still, weddings don't suit everyone....

Puce in ribbons! How sweet, and lovely she must have looked! I took Misty to a Christmas feast/party with friends in 2011. She had a collar made of silver tinsel, just for the occasion, and a large unmissable gold paper star tied on to it which said:

"I am a greedy-pig. I will try to convince you I never get food. Please do not feed me. I am lying when I say I did not get dinner".

Because I knew she would go 'the rounds' from guest to guest begging, and people can be quite soft hearted!

Pity there is no "Like" button, as I would press it!
