Vortex in Sedona, Arizona

Has anyone ever had a life changing experience here, or even been here? I am in really off track with my lifes purpose and I am wondering if this would heal me or just make me feel a little better and not do much. Thanks for sharing!

I've been to Sedona several times, no life changing experiences. It used to be a spiritual/new age mecca but now is mostly a tourist destination. The surrounding area remains as beautiful as ever.

There were a number of vortexes and associated (Native American) sacred sites in and around Sedona. Most are severely degraded now.

The stuff of spiritual interest has moved to a town nearby (don't know name).

Vortex! I'll say it's a Vortex!

A local told me how they sometimes get a kick outta watching newbies
Circle the Post office parking lot when there are plenty of spaces.
If you are not centered, knowing how to "take" this new energy, you may go around
In circles, too! Just trying to act normal with a waitress.
My first visit I was only about 37, I swear hiking around Bell Tower, I forget all the names of the rock
Formations, sorry, I stopped to rest and got lost watching the ants....like I was on a drug...
I mean I loved it....but things can get accented there....I was in a relationship that made me nutty...so I had a couple sudden outbursts...very weird, not normal.

Second visit I was more mature and simply loved the place...I have sold a lot of artwork in Sedona, wonderful place....just be a meditator that knows how to handle the place...use it to excell, I say.

The town near by is Jerome AZ. an old mineing town that is now an artisit town.

Sedona does not have a monoploy on vortexs. Spirit Mountain near where I live is a strong one. Seek out your own places of power.

Yes, Jerome, is fabulous.
I'm not sensitive enough to "seek out my own places of power".
I go with the flow...if thousands of people say a place is a Vortex, ok...I'll ck it out.
I suppose if you pray or meditate in the same place for years that could be considered a place of power, I dunno....what's a place of power anyway...a sincere heart...?

Divinejoy916 I have been to Sedona, my first night there. I was in my hotel room and I just started crying, and crying ,and crying. That what happened to me. Very beautiful place. When I left there I thought about what happened to me there, you know all the crying. My impression from my experence was that I cryed for all the times I held back my tears, and for that I am grateful for. Was that life changing for me, I say Yes. Now I see it at a cleansing experence for me.

A Sincere Heart is indeed a Place Of Power. In nature you can find a natural vortex just by following your feelings.
