More than just a dream!

A number of years ago I had a very vivid dream which made such an impression on me that later I did some research into it.
I am female but in my dream I was male and wore a long trenchcoat. I was aboard an old fashioned looking train and walking down the corridor beside the separate compartments. I felt fearful that my life was in danger for some reason as though I was perhaps a spy.
The dream changed and I was then walking diagonally across a large open square. It was early morning and the air was crisp. As I approached the centre I came level with an enormous statue of a head which I instantly recognized as Lenin. I can remember thinking Lenin's nose was as big as me! I walked briskly on, still feeling my life was in jeopardy and the dream ended as I reached the opposite corner of the square.
Some time later and quite by chance I saw a similar statue of Lenin on the news, only life size which prompted me to see if there were others. Sure enough the biggest Lenin head statue in the world is situated in the large town square of a place called Ulan Ude in Siberia. Pictures on the internet show it to be of the dimension I dreamt. Also when I looked on Google earth I discovered that there is a railway station within short walking distance and situated to the left of the square. In my dream I walked diagonally from left to right across the square. Furthermore, on looking at images of the interior of the Trans Siberian railway carriages, they appear very wooden and old fashioned as in my dream. It blew my mind to discover things were as I'd dreamed and I'd love to hear what you think of this experience and whether others have had similar. Thank you for reading.x

I really appreciated reading this. And I have to say that, having experienced many of these kinds of 'remote perception' dreams myself, I totally believe you.

I've yet to become desensitized to the thrill and occasional existential terror that is brought about by these experiences. To me, they truly illustrate just how connected the universe is—just one large bubble of stuff; a singular matrix entangled indefinitely.

Oh, sure. I plan to make a couple threads soon. There's just so much to them, and they've spanned so many years, that summing them up on a couple small paragraphs wouldn't provide the fullest—or most entertaining—picture.

But, basically, I've had one relationship based around telepathy, and a new experience that has dragged me kicking, screaming and confused into the Los Angeles music industry. And everything started with what could have been harmless, meandering dreams.

I had the presence of mind to document most of the events as they occurred, which has left me with a book's worth of anecdotal evidence.

I'll post the link here once I get to making the thread.

I too have had a telepathic relationship which was quite extraordinary and to most would sound unbelievable.
Do you feel as though your "gift/talent" is leading you somewhere or should be of service somehow? Also do you find you have any control over what happens and when? I'd be fascinated to hear/compare.

I myself have many relationships based around telepathy. I have friends with similar circumstances.

My take on Katy's dream is that it is a remembrance from a prior life time. Dreams like that normally surface when there is some connection to your present physical reality, as most dream therapist would suggest.

Now you can revisit that dream, with intent and imagination, and ask questions. Consider the idea that there is a dream angel inside each of us. Imagine a conversation with it to get the answers you seek.

Thank you for your response. That was my first thought too that perhaps it was a previous life memory, particularly as in my dream I was male and that I was later able to identify the setting. However upon further research I discovered that the Lenin Head monument was actually constructed during my current lifetime. Initially I was disappointed to make that discovery because I felt it evidenced reincarnation rather nicely however it still leaves rather interesting unanswered questions. Any thoughts/ similar kind of experiences?

The first thought is that it was a past life scenario. But when you say this statue was built in your lifetime, then we are suddenly not talking about "linear time" as we are conditioned to perceive time.
Stepping into other dimensions of reality, there is no limit to overlaps of time/space/ experiences, and shared experiences. Time is no longer bound to a linear form.

I remember a dream I had when I was 4 or 5. In it I was following a small group of adults through a huge ornate double door, which was opened by a man dressed flamboyantly. This place was palatial. The adults went through, but at the last second I ducked back, and glanced down the corridor to my left, and giggled as I caught sight of a man peeing into a big blue and gold ornate plant holder or vase.
I always remembered this "silly" dream. But I don't think I ever told anyone about it, as to my childlike thoughts, I considered it to be a "rude" dream!

So...50 years later I discovered (for the first time) that in the palaces of Europe under the Hapsburgs, the corridors were so long and it was such a distance to a respectable "**** pot" for servants, that many footmen and serving men did indeed pee in anything they could find!

I was both amused, and shocked.....Could that be a previous life experience? Possibly. But it could also be one of those "out of space and time" quick flashes seen from another dimension. And children are very open to traversing dimensions....

What a lovely story... Have you had other dreams like that? I have had quite a number of these "different" dreams throughout my life, from childhood onwards which I feel are past life memories. Each of them have generally contained details which I didn't consciously already know. Sceptics I suppose would say it was knowldge I had gained subconsciously but that doesn't explain it sufficiently for me. I'd be fascinated to hear others experiences too.
