Visit from Grandmother
Two mornings ago there was a funeral for my deceased grandmother’s sister. I didn’t know that the funeral was taking place that morning, but while waiting for my spouse to bring me coffee I received a visitation from my grandmother. I was in a half awakened state when I saw my grandmother appear to the whole family in a long white flowing gown. She was lit up so bright; everyone was wearing sunglasses in order to see her. My father commented about me being last in line to see her, but I said that was all right because then I would have more time to see her. When I got up to her she knew why I had to put my dog down. (We had always bonded over dogs, as she was a huge dog lover.) We hugged and then she left. After my spouse walked in with the coffee I said, “I was just with my gramma.” It wasn’t until 30 minutes later when I read an email from my mother that gramma's sister’s funeral was that same morning that I realized why she came. I’m so glad she stopped by to say hello.

That's really cool! I'm glad she stopped by for you too!
I had a visit from my MIL one night but I only knew it by smell... she reeked of cigarette smoke and permanent wave solution (she was a beautician). I learned that her best friend had died a couple of days before. No doubt she was showing her friend the ropes!

Beautiful story, thanks for sharing! At least you know she's in peace and she even stopped by to let you know what happened. As sad as it is to lose a loved one, one must think how precious life truly is.
