The three part life

I was thinking about the meaning of made in Gods image, and i was wondering if it has something to do about are three part consciousness, heart, soul, and mind, as to the Holy spirit, God the son and God the father, would this be accurate or no? what do you think

I am not aware of my consciousness having three parts such as heart, soul and mind. I feel like one "self". Maybe a little schizoid in that my baser istincts that sometimes infuence me to be hateful rather than loving and I must repent of them to get back in balance.

I do not understand the teaching of the Trinity exept as the One God acting in different "roles". I tend to pray to One God, as Christ prayed to the Father.

I do not know in what ways we are made in God's image but feel very strongly at least one is in that we have free will. We can choose what we shall be. I can choose to refuse to accept God's will for my life or I can choose to follow his will, and face the natural consequences of my choices.

The Bible says that we are made up of three parts.

One of these parts is the body and our bodies will eventually be resurrected. This is the main reason that reincarnation can't be true. Each of us only inhabits one body during our time on earth.
