Agreed. And yes, Trees are marvelous creatures that can heal you when you need to be healed. :)

Good article, noble knight! Every day I am so glad to be living in rural France, with nature all around. I never cut down trees. But I do get upset when neighbours cut down healthy oak trees for firewood....

I may not live in the best area, but our neighborhood is like a little oasis (in more ways than one, actually) - filled with beautiful, vivid, life-giving trees. I envy my neighbors because they actually have these trees in their backyard!

thanks, I'll definately read this. I have a love affair with trees. I think they are my first love. I'll have a lot to plant this spring. I ordered lots through the conservation department again.

Whenever I hug a tree, i feel I'm hugging another person- they have their own individual presences and personalities, and I do believe they have an awareness of their surroundings as well. I love trees!

Awesome! I as well love the trees! I believe all of us (creation) as spiritual beings have the ability to communicate, not through words, but rather energy and feelings. I feel most at home when I am in the middle of the woods. You can listen to the wind spirits talking amongst the trees. If you become still and clear minded, listen to the trees, some have great knowlage to share with us. When we are able to connect our selfs with these spiritual creatures, they offer healing, a sense of calming, and great spiritual wisdom. Trees FTW!
