How many here meditate to music? Anyone like to share there favorite?

I like meditating to music, but I'm very particular about it. It has to be mellow and just right before I can close my eyes and relax my mind

I've had good success using binaural beats and meditation, while not exactly 'music' it is sound nonetheless.

i love indian chants/ and monk music find it all very relaxing and helpful to meditate too.

i was looking for a thread where people post links to their favourite meditation songs/chants but cant seem to find one when i use the search facility.

Is there such a thread, or could we start posting our favourites in this particular one?

I was a musician for a long time, listened to a lot of music, can play music in my head, but to me, none of those is meditation.

I'm quite particular to, i don't like vocal or at least keep it to a minimum, mainly downtempo ambient etc etc

I tend to rotate between only a few albums for long periods of time, i don't get sick of hearing the same thing, since i have such a fussy process for selecting the music i listen to i grow attached to my albums that have been through the screening process.

Imaginary freinds and oxycanta have been a couple of choise lately for meditation.

Artist wise i like Aes Dana aka Vincent Villuis, amazing artist and also the co-owner of Ultimae Recs. All his albums are superb, i couldn't single one out.
