What is Consciousness?
A simple question ... is there a simple answer for you?

First there is awareness, then there is consciousness.
Consciousness is what you are aware of. It is the collection of things/feelings/concepts in your awareness.
The subconscious are things in your awareness you are not directly conscious of.

There are many different degrees of consciousness even deeper than any master on earth has experienced. You have conditional thought consciousness, youu have aware consciousness. You have peaceful, joyful, loving consciousness. And the best of all is being as your being aware of itself with consciousnes at it's purest level. You know the answer to your simple question because you created consciousness in all your beings in the universe. I did. But you only experience such as your being. Otherwise it sounds crazy, but it is the greatest truth. |
