Native Spirituality books?
Hello, I have been finding a draw to pursue shamanistic arts and native spirituality for quite some time and recently I went to a psychic and she brought up Native spirituality several times.
I'm wondering if anyone can suggest some books to start me off?
any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Shamanism for beginners by James Endredy was the first one I picked up. I really enjoyed it from James' story to his techniques. There was another one I dug up out the old library up in Carlisle (got my tarrot cards from there too). These old libaries are amazing it's fantastic what you can dig up in them... hold that thought I'm gunna make a post about them!

Looking up books under anthropology and shaman at the library can get you into some intellectual shamanic literature.
Everything by Sandra Ingerman. She keeps it straightforward and simple.
Of Water and the Spirit by Malidoma Patrice Some
Fire in the Head/Shamanism as a Spiritual Practice by Thomas Cowan
Plant Shamanism by Eliot Cowan
Weather Shamanism by Nan Moss and David Corbin
The Reluctant Shaman by Kay Cordell Whitaker
The Raven's Gift by Jonathan Turk
Bone Medicine by Wolf Moondance
Seeing the Dead, Talking with Spirits by Alexandra Leclere
Ted Andrews has some interesting books
I will always look in the biographies to get new books to read.
