Shall I Stay or Shall I Go?

I have heard stories of ghost who do not cross over. It is said that some stay because they feel like they have unfinished business, want to stay close to family and even possessions or have been caught here unaware. What would you want to do if you had the choice? Would you want to stay or do everything you could to cross over?

What would you do here as a ghost if you chose to stay?

If I had a choice I'd hang about for a while, then cross over when I felt ready to.

Comfort and help people in some kind of indirect way, maybe get some kicks out of haunting some of my older friends and freaking them out a little, just for a laugh.

But the real big thing I want to do in the afterlife is review my entire life and learn from the decisions made and events...etc. Like re-watching a movie to understand the plot...or watching the making of the movie...behind the scenes..that sort of thing.

Yeah, Sangress, I think I too would like to hang around for a bit. I like the idea of being able to comfort or direct others as well. I have always thought it would be cool to kind of be like a muse (if possible). I would like to help people have those ah-ha moments.

I think it would be fun to visit the skeptics, you know to help them see things differently about the existence of ghost heheeee...

I don't thimk I would be interested in reviewing my life though, I already of reruns of things running through my head now, I will be happy to let that rest.

I know right now that i would never choose to stay. When i'm there..wherever there is...i will know all and not need to hang. So respectfully, i aint sticking around LOL

nightowl - I would stick around a bit to see who my husband takes up with. lol After all, I'd like to know what kind of woman comes into my home. Would she take down all of my paintings I painted? Would she cook like me? Would she be good to my husband and son? I guess if I didn't like her my spirit would make itself seen or heard in the house. Well, then again, I suppose out of love I should cross over asap to avoid interfering with my loved one's lives.

This is a different perspective I never thought about...spying on my husband...heeeeheeee. Seriously though I could understand wanting to see how it would be without you and if your family was loved in your absence.

I know I would not be able to go...

My personality is very protective, epecially of those I regard to be in my pack. I know how attached I get to people.
