Meanings of Colours in Auras?

I've been doing some research for some time and have so far been unable to come up with any specific answers that fit. Does anyone know what specific aura colours symbolize? For example, what does it mean when someone's aura is magenta, as opposed to someone with a dark green aura? Do they mean anything at all? Throughout my childhood and teen years I thought of them as either having no meaning, or simply a way of identifying individual souls, like how people have names. Has anyone experienced or come across any meaning behind these colours?

That's detailed and informative post!

Do you (or anyone) know why the color of the aura varies from person from person. Who decides individuals aura color?

How to really correct the abnormal aura?

Thanks

This is quite interesting but there is another question: Has anyone seen a person emitting aura?
I mean how can they come up with the color of aura in the first place if no one has seen it so far?

Thank you for sharing your list of aura meanings! I've recently started to want to learn more about reading auras and I've asked my higher self to download the ability to read other people's auras. I'm starting to be able to see colors come off of people's clothings and belongings, even. It's such an amazing ability.

That's really interesting and something I've wondered about!

An energy sensitive woman I know has told my wife and I that my wife's aura is bright pastel blue. ....but she told me that mine was very unusual because it was two-toned......combining a rich purple with a emerald green...

I think i was so subconsciously effected by this statement that some months later when I getting some new carbon fiber arrows made up for my new bow....when the guy asked me what color I wanted the fetching. .....without thinking. .. I said green and purple. ..

I really like that bunch of arrows. ....

Neuropsychologists have attempted to heavily study this phenomenon. It is a form of synesthesia, which only roughly 4% of humanity is estimated to have.

Worth keeping in mind, though, that so far they have not been able to scientifically explain why it happens, they just have theories, just as there are the spiritual theories for it, as well. However, color auras are recognized to be a very real perceptual phenomenon even by the neuroscience community. Seeing color auras around people depending on their emotions and personality is simply one type.

Taking a look at the findings and data they collect, though, can sometimes offer some insight that can assist with the spiritual approach. Science and spirituality are often partners like that, even if some people portray them as mutually exclusive rivals.

In some forms of synesthesia, researches have noted some very strong correlations among people who have never communicated with each other in any way. For example, with the Grapheme-color form, the majority see a red aura for the letter "A". However, a smaller percentage see the letter "A" with an aura of a different color, or "A" is not included in the numbers/letters which have auras for them.

It's very interesting. Obviously the phenomenon is not merely a hiccup in psychological development, for so many people to associate "A" with the color red (as an example), yet nor is it a purely neurological/chemical phenomenon, because there are exceptions.

What so far seems to be the case, is that the ability to see color auras around certain symbols, things or people is an ability that about 4% of the population has, in which they receive a signal using the colors that the assigned-given symbol, thing, people, etc is present. Like a radar of sorts, once the colors are assigned to something.

People who see auras around people not only have the synesthesia phenomenon ability, but the colors have often been assigned to emotions, rather than symbols or so on, and sometimes the person is also often very perception of others' emotions. Like an empath with a color-coded radar system.

However, what we can glean from the research is that while there might be a strong trend in color meanings among emotion-focused synesthetes, there are also likely to be a smaller number for whom the color meanings are somewhat different, and/or for whom the ability is focusing especially on certain emotions yet ignoring others.

Do we all have an aura that stays the same for days/weeks/months or does it change constantly?

I love Lynn's list by the way
