Black dragon spirit guide

About a year ago, I was introduced to I believe one of my spirit guides in a dream. And today, I tried automatic writing for the first time and in my own way, I knew it was him. About six months ago I had a meditation of a "Chinese" blue dragon but tonight, I didn't feel that prescience. Does anyone here have a dragon spirit guide that they can tell me about (advice, experience, etc.) in particular, black ones?

dragons are large; very large.
the energy of dragons has been in slumber for several centuries.
sleep is 'normally' conducted away from disturbing light sources,
so the blackness of a dragon may simply relate to the idea that
there is no or little light available to illuminate it.

Sorry I don't know anyone with a dragon spirit guide, but I can provide the following information about dragons in general. The work from dragons is categorized by their colour.

Black Dragons: Responsible for guarding temples and Holy places, mainly responsible for attack and defense, and is the guardian of the dragon race.

Blue Dragons : responsible for guiding animals and plants towards reincarnation. They cannot come too close to the battlefield sites since the energy is too heavy for them. They are very kind and highly sympathetic and can cry severely to the point that they cannot carry on with their duty. Blue Dragons also work closely and cooperate with fairies and elves.

Oh there are so much more to tell...let me pm you with the Chinese text so you can use google translate to grasp the main idea if you are interested :)

I have a black dragon guardian animal. He guards the crystal cave.

I knew about this dragon for a long time and I know who he is. He is friendly but he is black and that is low to me. I always thought he was for protection. To me, lower energy is dark but I work with it so I need protection.

I saw this post and I was going to respond to it and that is when I got the message that he guards the crystal cave. I hadn't heard that before. I don't know where the crystal cave is. That is new.

I have many animal guides and they each have a different purpose. Most of them come and go and I may not hear from them for a long time. My black dragon is always there but I don't think about him that much. He is working in the background until I need him for something I suppose. That is how it seems. Apparently he guards the crystal cave, wherever that is.

@CrystalHeather...Your post was helpful to me because I didn't about the legends of dragons and what the colors mean but that sounds about right.

Thanks Rozie! I'm glad that you found it useful. The crystal cave sounds like a sacred place to me. Let me also translate dragons of other colours. Please note that they are all from a Taiwanese blog called 湛宇天夜 (so I won't infringe the spiritual copyright issues lol)

This is how the dragon race is classified:

Black Dragons - responsible for guarding temples and Holy places, mainly responsible for attack and defense, and is the guardian of the dragon race.

Golden Dragons - cooperate with other dragon races in the universe, as well other enlightened masters; specialised in contacting external beings and dealing wih external issues (but if your level is not high enough, they will turn down your requests. They are the proudest (most arrogant) race of the Dragon family), and occasionally they deliver messages from higher beings/ masters.

Yellow Dragons - responsible for cleansing of air, and dealing with atmospheric issues. If their work requires, they will evolve into Rainbow Dragons (gigantic dragons with rainbow colours) to deal with high and low pressure, and driving the flow of typhoons and cold fronts. Usually a single Rainbow Dragon is enough for a typhoon. Yellow Dragons are the last race divided from the dragon tribe, evolved from the White Dragons.

White Dragons - deal with the ocean cycles and the purification (cleansing) of land. Many have become domain spirits (responsible for a particular region). They sometimes assist the Yellow Dragons.

Blue Dragons - responsible for guiding animals and plants towards reincarnation. They cannot come too close to the battlefield sites since the energy is too heavy for them. Red Dragons - transport Reiki (and also Reiki from land) and Karma. Being the toughest and most resilient dragons, in the time when the Earth's karma is the greatest, they carried the karma (really hot as the burning lava) to other places to relieve the pressure from the place of incident, or else that same spot will have repeated large-scale earthquakes and natural disasters. Hence, the Red Dragons are all bruisedriddled with scars (and pain in their hearts). Black Dragon sometimes assist them.

My son has dragons as spirit protectors. His main one is a red dragon. He appeared as a Western fire dragon in my son's eyes. I saw him as a Chinese dragon of red, orange, yellow mix and I've also seen him as a teen with puffy white hair wearing a shirt and jeans. This was years ago when my son was close to death. The veil was open for a few years and they were able to communicate. His age is as old as time plus one day. His dragon friends/brothers would visit often and hang out together. They were water, air, land dragons, and perhaps more. I forget. But I do remember their colors as blue, invisible, green. I remember asking about black dragons. The reply was that they don't encounter each other much. If they did, they might get "blown up." The black dragons are unpredictable, very powerful. I didn't even know what spirit guides and guardians were back then. For whatever reason the dragons chose my son and stayed with him protecting, healing, and enjoying life with him.

Incidentally, I had a very nice dragon dream on the night of the lunar Chinese New Year. I admired along with others a flying dragon in the sky. It flew right in front of me, landed, smiled at me, turned and returned to the skies. I was amazed at its shear size, as grand as a large tyrannosaurus rex. It's odd but I cannot remember its colors. I think it was earthen toned, yellow tan perhaps.

That might be very true. The visions and 'worlds' are what I am shown. It's a story, but the story does correspond to energy work. It has to be presented to me in a way that I can work with.

The crystal area that I know of is the repository of knowledge, or the library.

I don't see how that could connect, but I think it has something to do with a portal. The crystal is a clue about that and I am starting to see it

I like the Dragon stories. I could use that and it really fits with my dragon. She is a girl but she has a boy name that is not dragonly at all. I think she has her eggs that are of every color. That is what is in the crystal cave. It's a nursery.

That's the story as I see it coming together.

The dragons are a way of doing guidance that is very useful. I use many ways but this is one way. It's a good technique.

Horace, yes, when he first appeared to me, I would guess he look like he was 10+ stories tall. A frightening, but wondorous thing to behold. That's an interesting observation, because he appeared later in my dream next to a dark cave, almost concealed surrounded by light that was certainly unearthly.
