There once was a young lady called Flo. What was missing inside her she didn’t know. This feeling of lack allowed Flo to hit back and begin her path of self discovery. She looked around at all the parts of her life and felt that something was not adding up, she felt helpless and lost, suffering followed her every move, feeling misunderstood, unappreciated and alone. “There must be more to life than this” she wonders in her monkey mind, a thousand scattered thoughts filling her mind. She see’s people around her who are happy, successful and in love, so why can’t I? She asks. Unbeknown to Flo, there is no such thing as can’t; everything is possible, if only we choose to believe. So Flo begins to delve deeper into her mind, into her heart and into her soul. She want’s to KNOW who she is and what she is and what she is here for, she wants to fulfil her highest potential and to create a life worth living. So Flo begins to get to know herself, and to find meaning in her everyday occurrences, that funny thing that we call life.

In the beginning, everything seemed so dark, yet Flo could feel the light in her heart, and this became her guiding light. First of all, Flo realised that her family life, and in extension, her personal relationships were on the most part, a shambles. She realised that this could not simply be everyone else’s behaviour, but it must be her own that could be causing such turmoil in her life. Flo reflected that she hadn’t been guided much growing up on how to handle situations like this, and she soon realised that this was a path that Flo had to walk alone, to reclaim her own power of her life! Flo realised that she can change her life and she can build more loving relationships with herself and with others, that this is the difference between suffering and love. She began to explore her own being, to acknowledge these parts of herself that have been cast aside and ignored, to the parts yet to be discovered and heard, Flo found this search for truth most enjoyable. It pulled her in like a deep vortex, just as strong as the longing for love and peace in her life. She began to study her palms, to explore all numerology that relates to her, she studied metaphysical concepts and more. The imbalance across the world was apparent to Flo, which unsettled her, and she could see how this ‘corruption’ was leaking into every crevice of modern society, affecting how we perceive what is and what can be. She felt emblazoned to make a change, to bring beauty to the world, to bring love and peace to all.

Flo started to face the parts of her that needed to be resolved and integrated. The biggest feeling that kept creeping up on Flo was anger. She felt it like hot coal in her heart, burning to be tamed, calling out for resolution. This feeling often overwhelmed her and threatened to tear her life into ruin, so Flo began to ask why she was angry, where does this anger come from, and what can I do to resolve this and let go. To start off with, Flo felt she was angry because her family had let her down, that they were not supportive, and that they always undermined and disrespected her. This is why she had cut herself off from them, because she believed it was them that caused her pain. She began to find interest in tarot and readings and making contact with those who see the unknown, to find the truth in what she could not see. Arriving closer to the truth, Flo had experiences where she felt the unfathomable rush of the love of God wash over her very essence and cleanse her soul of her worries and fears. In these moments Flo felt ultimate love and peace, and now Flo knows that it is the divine creator that lights up her heart, and with her heart she vows to remain dedicated to continue to grow her light. In this moment, Flo realises that it is not others that cause her pain, but it is her own choices that cause her own suffering.
