Two spiritual messages

Last night in that half asleep, half awake state I received two messages which may well already be obvious to many of you, but really spoke to me.

The first:

Consciousness cannot be grasped, it can only be experienced.

The second:

I am not the son of God, I am God looking out.

I just thought I'd share because in that state they were completely understandable.

Makes total sense to me.. Having invested much engagement with advaita, I recall the second one is what people like Ramada maharishi would have said. Someone similar I do not remember the name of said he had been knocking on the door to enlightenment only to realize he was already inside when it opened, or something like that :)
