S: No. Some do not enter until days after the baby has been born. It depends on the lessons that must be learned....

I do not understand this one. What keeps the baby "alive" after it's born, and before someone enters the body.

this makes fantastic sense. we are breath, and when we die, we take our last breath, and we as breath leave the body. and nothing says it cannot be the same for birth.

I understand that the incoming soul keeps the baby's body alive and cannot leave the baby's body "unattended" for longer than a certain period.

And, nothing says it happens just like this in the first place. Life is fantastic in its mystery.
What if, in fact, the breathe only serves to energize the body's functions

Not true. There are numerous NDEs were encounters with stillborn children are reported. Often by a sibling who did not even know they had had a stillborn brother and sister. (Later confirmed as true by the child's parents)

It might never enter the fetus,
In my experience consciousness is very fluid visiting this form only from time to time on a ad hoc basis throughout the course of human life as the whim takes it. consciousness has a lot of trouble taking root in a physical form because it is not it's natural habitat, consciousness cannot easily be fixed to one place or form for any appreciable lengt of time..
A good indication is to try to see how far back you can remember. When is your earliest physical, recallable memory.. Mine is 2 years old. In effect I became conscious of this form and reality at 2 years old.

when the expectant mother starts to glow. it is not uncommon for women to be cured of chronic ailments during child bearing. my guess is that it's due to the woman carrying a "pure" soul (at that present time in that life). i would guess that the marrying of a soul to a body occurs between conception and birth.
the body has it's own innate consciousness.
