Well if it did that, I would just suggest to spray some WD40 on it - If that doesn't work, you can likely buy one really cheap from a junk yard.
O, but be careful if you replace it, or you can mess up the timing. |

Sorry IQ ~ maybe there was a silver lining to this ? can you remember anything special/ good that happened while you stayed home that may not have happened if you had been gone ?

I have no ideas about this, but as I said distributor caps cannot physically blow up unless the entire vehical does. |

I will confess I don't know anything about distributor caps, so I will take your word on that.
What I was trying to say, is that sometimes, for whatever reason, unexplainable, mysterious things DO happen.
