The Girl in the Book, starring Emily VanCamp. It's not comfortable to watch at certain times, but it has themes which people who have experienced abuse (particularly sexual abuse) can relate to, and is thought-provoking, healing and empowering in a way.

I rarely go to the theater so its a treat when I go, but damn this movie was awful... I was forced to go when my dad rejected my moms invite who loves these movies. I dont blame him!!!
