What Does SF Mean to You ?

Hello

I thought I would ask members what SF means to you ?

What have you found here that helped you ?

I will start.....

I came to SF February 2006 and have been here since. I met my now hubby here on SF (Heart) .

In the years I have been here I have seen so many grow and some move on from the site, to be so happy in life from the darkest of places you can go.

In helping someone I found someone to marry what more could I ask for ?

Lynn

For me this site has provided connection in my life with people who are open minded and supportive. I am able to discuss things here that I would not be able to talk about easily in real life. I almost consider SF my spiritual soil in which I grew. A big, big, big THANK YOU to those who keep the site going. I would be lost without it.

I have a really hard time talking to people in real life about my interest in things related to spirituality and the occult and whatnot so it's awesome to have this site to talk about it and learn.

Its given me lots and lots of useful understanding in areas I knew nothing about. I had the terrible misunderstanding that it is *wrong* to call oneself God. Since I've been here that has turned around into a positive respect for my own (and everyone elses) divinity.

Just grateful to be a part of the community. My favorite "hide out" place from reality. While, family and friends are worried for my absence or lack of response during this period, what they don't know is that I am having a more than wonderful time here with my friends discussing pointless topics "what is your mood" There isn't anyone else I would rather bond with during this time than y'all.

and I love my homies..

Thank you, Matt.

SF is a place I can come and be with the friends I've made here.

As many, when I first came here it was an addiction. I was everywhere and posting to just about every post. Now I have developed friends and I PM them and add to my two blogs (Linen's Gluten Free Neighborhood and Fed Up with Corn) as new information makes itself available.

I so appreciate all of you. Thank you Matt (wherever you are) for your dream.

I originally joined SF in October of 2011 and was periodically in and out for quite a few years...

I came back the beginning of this year while undergoing an intense spiritual/soul transformation and what's helping me is connecting with other people here...I feel like I have a much deeper/higher calling to be here this time around...

I greatly enjoy reading and connecting with others experiences and sharing my own personal insights in ways that may assist/benefit/uplift others...

This is also a forum I feel like I can express myself more freely without people judging me...it's a very calm and positive atmosphere and I hope this forum continues to stay around and grow...

Recently, I realized just how much I miss being able to come here when I want to, especially if the site is down for days at a time...
