sometime feel spiritually stuck!

it's like moving against wind. So easy to giving into the temptations, but like no momentum spiritually.
What do you do when you feel "spiritually" lithergic?

lol I have some experience in that field ;) I was kinda stuck from my 18s to my 28s...

I work like crazy, watch movies, play video games, read adventure books, listen to music, hang out with my friends, and make out with my dates

Hi spiritualrms

One must deliberately invoke the highest, create one's own necessity, be open to inspiration. That is what spirituality is: Conscious deliberate application of higher principle within.

To be clear...
Temptation (or especially its willful indulgence) isn’t ‘spiritual momentum’. But it is the conscious recognition of the disparity between an emerging progressive tendency which aspires towards the light, vs. a regressive inertial ignorance - typically material, sensual, acquisitive - which by long habit has become an attractive status-quo within the individuated being.

Whether by a conscious discipline, discrimination, devotion, dedication - or all of them together - the regressive tendencies of ignorant cognition and action must be superseded, transcended, and transformed.

That is what ’spiritual momentum’ is, or rather, the continuation on a daily basis of those various means through a conscious deliberate consecration of one’s life and time.

If you feel lethargic, do something dynamic and inspiring.
Even a simple thing, like going for a walk on a new route, creativity, service, reading - even cleaning one’s personal space - anything that inspires, purifies, dyanamises, has the inherent potential to be life-transforming. One never knows when and where the inspiration will create a viable pathway.

The momentum (vs inertia) comes from the daily application in practice, although there is no guarantee, as even great spiritual masters have gone through so-called ’dry periods’. One must simply persevere cheerfully without expectation. Positive change does happen. It’s the basic tendency of Nature.
