Three knocks and baby crying

Hello all,
My partner and I were, ahem, having unprotected sex the other night. On the back wall in his room, we heard three knocks. We were completely freaked out, considering the myth of three knocks. Then as I was falling asleep, I heard a knock on his bedroom window which was wide open, but the blinds were pulled. Now the wall in his bedroom, there is nothing behind it, just the stairs. Then two nights later, we were babysitting his cousins. His cousin is six and was in bed upstairs. We again had unprotected sex and then heard a newborn baby crying, almost ghost like. We were, of course, afraid then too, but quickly shrugged it off. It has been playing on my mind lately. Any suggestions of what this could mean? Thank you in advance!
