One stone I had..
water clear large "diamond shaped" stone firmly embedded in brown hard sandstone. Have not found like that yet on any online sites.
What this is called? The stones embedded are individual. Not as clusters.

Sounds like Herkimer
It really sounds like Herkimer diamond, but since you've probably been searching all over, I'm sure you've thought of this one already.
Herkimer Diamonds from Herkimer, NY tend to be clear and look like diamonds although they are quartz. I believe they named them Herkimer diamonds just to create a buzz to their mine.

Thank you! That was it. Correct terms is:
Herkimer Diamond in Dolomite Limestone.
I have tiny herkimer diamonds but would love to have larger than that.
