Negative energy

I was wondering if someone could tell me which crystal would be the best for helping to protect from negative energy. I did try to get a black tourmaline but was unlucky, i have a hematite and a black obsidian?

Hello

I have found that its always nicer if one can find a crystal store. As crystals seem to choose ye and the feel of them at times makes it easy to find the right one. At times Science and Nature Stores have them too. That is where I find mine and they are way cheeper because to them they are just "rocks". I have even found some nice one's at Dollar Stores (again their they are just thought on as rocks).

The reason why the tourlamine could not be working is because it might not be activated.
Have you tried putting it in the sunlight and moonlight every once in a while?
You have to do it with all of your stones.

One possibility would be that it has attachments or it is not the right stone for you.

I enjoy black obsidian, jet, onyx, hematite, when it comes to protection from negative energy. I wear an obsidian and an amethyst around my neck.
Try to find the stones that make you feel good and safe by connecting with them. :)

I have had an amazing amount of success with Labradorite. It's beautiful, relatively inexpensive, and wonderful to meditate with when not at home. I carry it with me wherever I go and I feel it's protective energy, which is quite strong and empowering at times, even.

I was unaware that the Labradorite was such a powerful protection stone, and it's beautiful too!

Labradorite is a wonderful protection stone. I use that and hematite. I found a wonderful online store called healingcrystals.com. I've been very happy with their quality and they sell true stones.

I've been sold fake, dyed and poor quality crystals online. I'd prefer to buy them in person, but there are no stores near me.

I didnt actually get the tourmaline, where i live there was only 1 shop that sold crystals, there is now 2 but they dont get black tourmaline. I put on my black odsidian, well i wear it in a pendant and i dont know if this was me or the stone as i heard it can be too strong for some but i felt very emotional and at times i felt very sick so i took it off and i havent felt like that, but if it was and i feel emotional would that not mean i have some stuff to clear or heal so maybe i should wear it. I am not sure exactly how to activate them i read somewhere to hold it in both hand together til you feel connected to the stone. I do sit them out when there is a full moon and i also keep them in a cushioned box with a clear quartz.
