Responsibility is a two fold issue

First of all I can be responsible for myself - in the I AM sense of the word. Secondly God can be responsible for me - in the 'having faith' sense of the word. So I end up with a double responsibility. Responsible for myself and God responsible for me.

I was tussling between the two and trying to work out which is more 'true' - but I guess they go hand in hand. In childhood it is our parents who are responsible for us, which doubles as God being responsible for us. As we grow up we become responsible for ourselves, but we do not need to let go of God being responsible for us.

Many people also believe that Christ offered to be responsible for us and they turn to Him to look after them.

In this light we are not in a bad situation at all - we have a lot of options to help us.
