all one?

what do they mean by everyone is one? does this mean you are really me and that i am all alone by myself. a spiritual teacher said when people merge in nirvana we keep our individual selves still.

Merging into so called Nirvana is just Realizing that everything is ONE, there is no thing separate, there's not even one, because to say that we are all one, is to say that there is more than one, words fail us in this Oneness. Now within this so called Oneness is also our mind body organism, and with this mind we believe we are separate, and of course we need to have this illusion of separation to exist as the mind body organism, but its when we believe that we are separate and are caught up in this more than we should that we get ourselves into trouble, so yea, we are all collectively the Ocean of Consciousness, and we are also playing the game of separation.

In our God state we are all one, a type of spiritual-collective...Outside of that we are individual spiritual beings. keeping in mind, that this is spirituality and meaning, about or of non-physical, immortal, spiritual beings and not about the physical world which includes mortal, physical, human or animal bodies we operate for a physical-type experience. Only spirituality is native to each of us and not the physical world.

The questions about what it means that we are all one fade away when we experience the oneness as our own essence of being. This happens in deep meditation.

You might think of it as the ocean of oneness and we are individual waves.

At a weary high level of awareness we all are one and there is nothing like good or bad - everything is good and a part of evolution.

When humanity learns that when harming each other in the end is like harming ourselves then a new era will start :O)

I've come to know the state of being one with all and being separate from all as the ultimate truthful paradox. It is an awareness of being and not-being simultaneously. Both are true yet in order to be here, in this world, to be born, live, and die - I have to suspend that awareness.

So for me, one is just another facet of the experience of being.

I once thought that if we are spiritual beings having a human experience, perhaps the Divine ether that emanates throughout creation was once one - and then it consciously divided itself in to every facet of life that we know in order to experience the Universe directly in every way possible. And if this is true, then we are always one, just different petals on the same flower.

I try not to get too hung up on it, its best to just dive in to the paradox and savor the experience. *smile*

We are all One with All That Is. We are the source. We are all one big soul. You are me. I am you. I am One with everything and all plants and wildlife. We are all energy. Everything is energy.
