Smart phones ,the web , small computers, large flat tvs , cars that don't use points. I am sure I will think of other things.
I was a kid in 1960 but too young to remember.

I have been here since the fall of the Pavlina forum. In the 60-70s you could trust the media. Sadly there are no Walter Concrite s today. Going back to 1960 I would not miss all the propaganda of today.

Smart phones - including the web that goes with them.
Streaming media. I simply cannot/will not watch or listen on their schedule.

Regarding: what's going on now as if it was so good in the 60's.

Huh? The Bay of Pigs, the closest we ever came to nuclear war on our US shores ...you think the 60's
were great or something, Dude?
You think having our President assassinated was easy, then Martin L. K. and Bobby K.?
The tumultuous Civil Rights movement, beatings of our black brothers and sisters?
Or sending our brothers to Viet Nam? Or Napalming villages was easy, or something!?
(Hard to get around not using their names.) You might be living in some 60's La-la Land.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.

I had none of that in the UK. In the 60's my life was great.

(Apart from the loss of my father).

I can't say that I miss the cold War days. I am not sure if it is really over with the current world events. On salads, I remember eating some in the 60s and 70s . I do kinda miss the shopping malls and ordering stuff out of a catalog. And getting cool stuff with trading stamps. (Wensday is double stamp day)I miss listening to relly cool shortwave broadcasts. (60s70s) Nothing on shortwave today. And then there was CB radio, and 8 trak tapes.
