Hi guys!
I've been reading a lot about nanotech recently, and I know its 20, 30, 40 years away from becoming as common as oxygen, but one can dream
I was thinking. What would the ramifications be for utilizing nanotech for purposes of immortality?
I forgot which article, but I think it was either the UK's Telegraph, or the Guardian, but I read that nanotech would allow you to do things like run a sprint for 15 minutes without a single breath, or go scuba diving for four hours before needing to come back to the surface. Seems crazy.

What would the consequences of utilizing nanotech for full-blow immortality(eg. bus runs over your toes, they grow back; or never getting wrink;es[sure everyone would love that
])? I guess this is primarily a question about nano-immortality and reincarnation, or an afterlife.
Would it just be considered a step up in human evolution(spiritually, biologically, and technologically)? I guess since it wouldn't make much difference, since it's not really the physical body that matters. It would just mean that your "clothes" are now indestructable.
