Can dreams allow us to see other dimensions?
For over twenty years now I seem to have occasional glimpses into a life that isn't mine, but it's me in there. There's odd things about this world, I think you could call it the Mandela effect. As a teen it was the same shopping mall but some different shops. Different boyfriends (stupid, reckless and sometimes downright dangerous ones). Now, the house I live in here is a standard mid 20th century modern build but the house the other me lives in is a beautiful Georgian villa.
As a teen I loved connecting with this other me in my dreams as she was crazily wild. I dreamed of an arrest once in which the young officer who was marching her to the car in handcuffs through an empty shopping mall (ours is open all night as it's the only access to the cinema and the bus terminal) was telling her to break away and sort herself out because she was so much better than this. I agreed with him but she just asked who was going to help her do that. I get the feeling there were no parents in the picture. The arrest had taken place in the back room of a shop from which her boyfriend was running a drugs ring. She managed to get out of the arrest in the car park before getting into the car by talking the officer round and promising to try and sort herself out, but since I was inside her, not observing her, I knew she didn't mean a word. We were around sixteen then.
Skip forward twenty years of dreams. Last night I dreamt about her again and I feel so maternal to her this time. I want to go there and look after her, to teach her how to look after herself and her family. She has this beautiful villa that's a mess inside, her head is fuzzy, she finds it hard to function, as though she is on drugs but I get the feeling it's not drugs as she wasn't seeking her next high. She was struggling with her children and forgot one of them. This isn't unusual, she frequently forgets one of them - she's so focused on where she's going and getting there, rather than getting everyone together and going as a family. She has a social worker named Macqueline who's getting to the end of her patience trying to help someone who doesn't want to be helped. This isn't her first social worker either.
Do you believe it's possible to see other realities in our dreams? There's too many odd things about this other world even though it looks the same.

anything is possible.
i'm thinking that this is a "parallel" you.
since you're feeling maternal towards her, maybe you can be a
maternal influence for her... find a way to let her know that you are
with her, and that you care. (that may be the spark to clear her
thinking as well!)

They say time is not what we think it and that we can have multiple lives going on at the same time. You may be tapping into another life or she may simply represent your inner state of being. Considering how detailed the encounters are I would lean towards a parallel life as well. For whatever reason you may be being given the gift of seeing a past or concurrent life to help you gain perspective in this life. What you have learned or are learning from that life is of importance in some way in this life. So just compare and contrast I guess and see what works for her and what doesn't compared to what is working for you this life and what isn't. Fairly neat thought whatever it is.

That is very interesting.
There is a dreamworld that exists where people go and see familiar areas and characters. We have our roles to play.
It isn't unusual to have a place that you visit throughout your life.
Having that connection to another character and a continuing storyline in that way is a little unusual in my experience. It is interesting.
You mentioned the Mandela affect. I just learned about that and it is somehow connected to another world it seems, though it could be a change in our collective memory. I don't know but the other world thing, and the Mandela thing do seem connected to changes that are going on right now. That is what I am being told/shown but I don't know. It was interesting that you mentioned that because it has been a subject of discussion.

Thank you.
I loved connecting with her in my teens and early twenties but she needs to get herself together and sorted out now. Unfortunately I only get to observe. I've never managed to communicate with her. I'm in her head seeing and watching her life from her perspective.

I have been dreaming about 5 or 6 other lives I'm leading during this incarnation for some 20 + years. I find myself returning to the same places with people I know and some I don't ... these places vary from vacation places I've never been to but now know quite well, to dark scary factory like setting that is dangerous and I'm ducking into the shadows to saw myself ... always very interesting - I look forward to re-visiting and they keep happening. One more interesting one is me sharing my entire life with an X girlfriend from almost 30 years ago, and we still have the same issues we had back then ... though we have only seen each other once in 20 years - I guess we are still sorting things out (on some level).

Hi 1Eris,
I enjoyed reading about your other life. This type of thing is part of my reality also. I've wondered if everything stays untouched in that world until I return during dreamtime, or does it continue on. I've had suggestions of both, which just adds to the mystery.
See my post here, if you're interested in one of my accounts http://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/sh...ad.php?t=81478

In this amazing and unexplainable world, anything is possible. So yes, it is possible to receive glimpses of other dimensions in our sleep. The reasoning behind this is in our dreams, we are less aware of the outside world while having less distractions at night, therefore allowing this to happen.

Oh But Dreams are an other dimension :-)
sure just think of the light there :-)
part of dreams is processing image based creations or karma
that are of no use and need washing away again
as opposed to word/language based creations karma
but other souls can be met in dreams to and it does not end there at all

Interesting. I think on top of parallel lives of other people our soul has taken on we also play out different life paths for the life we are having. Each life has numerous paths it can take each leading to different people, places and outcomes depending on what we decide at each juncture. From what I have read we only see what would have happened to us had we taken a different path at our life review when we pass but it seems you may be seeing this alternate path play out while you are still living your life. I as well suspect there is a reason for you to see it concurrent with this life. What is your perspective on it? Was the break up a good thing? Have your relationships since then been healthier than the one you had with your ex or is the issue that was between you two carrying on into all your relationships? Take some time to contemplate the difference your life is now with the life in the dream playing out the different path and see what comes up. It is coming to you for a reason.
