Are visiting ghosts stuck?

When I first got into this whole spiritual subject, I was living in a 300yr.old house. I longed to see a spirit in the house but.....no....my dog beat me to it! For some days on the trot, he would sit down obediently, looking up towards the ceiling full of interest, sometimes whining and wagging his tail furiously. He seemed very happy at it all - I never did find out what it was all about.

By the way, anyone any idea why he would always be looking upwards, towards the ceiling?

Sunmist, I have always understood that our departed loved ones will always be around us as long as we are grieving. They only move on when they feel we are coping better.

My cat doesn't like "intruders" into her territory. Period. She freaks out every time she sees a spirit. She is a scaredy cat.They seem to like to appear in my bathroom. Just the other day, my cat started glancing over my shoulder and once the spirit got closer to me, she just ran away. The interesting thing was that I didn't feel the spirit in the room with me until I focused on different energies in the room. But that's just my problem - I am not as sensitive I guess. My cat is, though...haha
