I went and saw "Interstellar" yesterday. It was wonderful!

Great hard-science science-fiction (that is, it makes you think after it's over, instead of attempt to come down from an adrenalin-rush due to being all action and explosions.) No sound in space (another big plus!) And is heavy on the "human condition" kind of story-telling.

So, not as dry as 2001: A Space Odyssey (another wonderful hard-science science-fiction film!) but still mind-blowing

Death at a funeral, the British version. I laughed threw the whole movie, it was so funny.

Anything Is Possible

It is on YouTube.

About a young boy whose mother goes MIA. He is a musical prodigy. Was very touching.

Shine Like A Star

This is a lovely Indian movie, but it is all done in English.

Its about a young boy with dyslexia, who went undiagnosed for years until a heroic teacher comes along and works wonders with the boy.

It is a bit long of a film, but worth watching.

There will be a lot of laughter with the boy and his sense of humor, plus a lot of tears when his spirit is broken. Then good tears at the end of the movie.

Big (A charming and totally engrossing modern day fairy-tale. Tom Hanks at his best. Though everyone involved gives a sterling performance.)
