Don't forget the word "God" is also a made up word. A lot of cultures don't use that word for anything. Human's sure love putting names to things.

To me, I suspect Moses, Abraham, Daniel and others would not recognize our entities of today just as I suspect, most of us do not recognize their entities.
Reminds of 1 Kings and 2 Kings when the Jews 'forgot' their God and subsequently were worshipping another God.
