The truth of suffering,
The truth of the cause of suffering,
The truth of the end of suffering,
The truth of the path that leads to the end of suffering.
The truth of the cause of suffering is in the Sankharakhanda (
http://justpaste.it/jfai) (Sankharakhanda: which means all that is comprised under Sankhara); namely
- āsapassāsā-āvuso (in breath-out breath,) [bodily determination]
- Vitakkavicārā (Thinking/pondering), [verbal determination]
- Saññā (perception) and Vedanā (feeling). [mental determination]
As per Buddha's definition.
This is the cause of suffering.
This is the origin of all phenomena (physical and mental).
The end of suffering is the realization that reflecting any mental and physical and verbal present state you are experiencing, into the purity of these primal elements of Sankhara (yet unadulterated by the "I" and the rest,) and inversely reflecting these fundamental elements of Sankhara in the present state we dwell in mindfully, is the the truth of the end of suffering.
(as in MahaSatipatthana Sutta & Satipatthana Sutta)

In other words, Mindfulness training, as you can see, takes place (exclusively) in the elements of Sankhara; namely āsapassāsā-āvuso, Vitakkavicārā, Saññā and Vedanā.
And that the truth of the path that leads to the end of suffering is Patticapamusadda paccayo (path) SN12.3 + Magga (jhana) pacayo (SN 12.23).

(note that the categories are duplicated to show that you have to do away with them, once you enter the Magga (Jhana) path)
Isn't all this clearly stated in Buddha's term. Sankharakhanda, as the place where all starts by ignorance*; and where all should ends?
Anyone?
* Monks, what is ignorance?
Monks, if someone does not know unpleasantness, the arising of unpleasantness, the cessation of unpleasantness and the path leading to the cessation of unpleasantness. To that is said ignorance.
(SN - Nidana vagga)
Note: Sankharakhanda is not something to hold on either; even if it is pure. Because Sankharakhanda is the origin of the all Paticcasamuppada, therefore, it gets impaired through the kamma of consciousness (support for rebirth/ with its good or bad qualities as kamma).
