This is a true story, cried through the whole movie and I'm not even a dog person, I thought it was sadder than the fault in our stars and I cried through that movie aswell lol

Love Actually

Didn't appeal to me, though a lasting memory of the character played by Emma Thompson discovering that her husband had bought an expensive gold necklace as a Christmas present, but it wasn't for her ... (He bought her a CD. The necklace was for his young lover.) Heart-rending.

I just saw Tracks (2013) Based on a true story of a woman that walked across the Australian dessert with her dog and some camels with the help of others along the way. It was well made.

Good film. Great soundtrack.

Ex Machina...sci fi...very different , well done.

Tooken - a spoof on Taken 1,2 and 3 - just for a laugh. Totally ridiculous!

All That Heaven Allows ( 1955)
Starring Rock Hudson and Jane Wyman...romantic drama for that particular era, but still very much a current affair in my parts....60 years later, same social dilemmas.

I also find that era fascinating in the sense that American English was pronounced and spoken quite gracefully.
People don't speak in those tones anymore....

Taxi Driver - one of those films that you feel you should watch given it's always high up in the 'best of the best' lists. Didn't do anything for me at all. Couldn't relate to any of the characters.
