Falling Down is one of my top favorites. So is Limitless.

I just finished watching Rounders -- very good.

Exodus Gods and Kings. I found it pretty interesting actually and I liked it despite all the negative reviews. Despite not being very much into monotheism I happen to rather like historical epics, and in particular some of the old Biblical ones, like Quo Vadis and Jesus of Nazareth. I wasn't too much into seeing this one until I read a review where the reviewer was all nose out of joint about "God" or at least his angel being portrayed as a kid. That got my attention and I decided to check it out. I liked it. I got what the director was trying to say I think, and I enjoyed his very different take on the Exodus story. It's been a while since I saw a Biblical film that I liked this much actually.

Prometheus... I saw it on TV, I like ScFi films... This was a sort of prequel to Alien (Fab film!) and was directed by Ridley Scott... I enjoyed it.

But outstanding film!! I watch it whenever I want to cheer myself up, though from the description you would not expect it to be cheering, it is very uplifting.

That sounds like something I would enjoy, Kiran. I hope my library has it!

The Umbrellas of Cherbourg - after a while, you start to forget that they're singing.
