Is this called 'energy work"?

Hey sweet things!

While I'm continuing to practice my intuitive readings for people I am finding new abilities that are coming to the surface as I progress and really enjoying what is coming through.

One of the things I have started to find is that I can tune into people (with their permission of course) and feel their energy bodies and in particular if they have any chakras out of balance or that need attention. I can now tell people if they need to work with particular chakras but would also like to learn how I can help them do this, or teach them to do it themselves - so I am just wanting to know what this is called so I can begin to do some research and start learning.

The only thing I come up with is "energy work" but wondering if there is a more common name?

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Energy work is as good a term as any... it's healing by any other name.
You might want to investigate holographic patterning or the healing books by Adam. Meanwhile, don't fret the labels and just enjoy discovering this new ability.

I've heard the term Energy Manipulation specifically for things involving the use or perception of energy.

Of course, the name for what your doing is under the broad title of Energy Manipulation.

Specifically, what your doing could be described as Scanning someones energetic body to find anything that seems out of place...etc

If you fix whatever issue you find through Scanning, then it could be called Healing or Manipulating.

That's the terms I am familiar with though, a lot of people aren't so familiar with them.

In the end terms and labels are a tad pointless because one thing could mean another to one person, and something completely different to the next. *Shrugs*

Hello

I just call it Enery Balance Work. Its easy for someoene to understand that might not know the Chakras or care to follow that path.

I do distant healing and once I "READ" the body I FEEL the issues that need help. NOT all thought are physical I get some are emotional so I always ask to READ all levels of them.

To balance the Chakras I so feel the body and mind must balace as well. Issues at times are held hidden.
