CHANNELLING THE SELF .

I can see where Boyce is coming from as Channelling usually refers to channelling spirit.
A good title I feel would be Finding your True self Through the art of Meditation

I quite agree with your idea Native spirit, in meditation we can uncover our
true inner SELF., which is of course the Great White Spirit.

I sometimes view it in terms of "everything is connected" I am always channelling self, tapping into different aspects of the greater web of life or aspects of self.
If my channelling is inspired by a particular deity or energy.

Perhaps I am too easily influenced by my learnings within psychology though? Or the philosophical beliefs of ONENESS and UNITY.

I like the idea of channelling the self though, in terms of an exercise in SELF TRUST of higher wisdom... the SELF knows what is right for it.

all i can say what they have told me

when i ask for name they say names are irreverent call as what you want
"we come in forms you relate too" you being the channel are a filter
"you being source are connected to the energy of all that is"
"you walk with all that is, was, and what you don't know, you don't know, in you"

in the beginning it was defiantly not me i didn't know this stuff or knowledge but with their help and understanding of my mind, its me but not from my mind so it sees it out side the self

i now know its the self and the energy of all that is i see the mind as a awesome tool but know its not all that is me, i am finding some real awesome stuff i can create, ways of being, and experiences when my mind gets out of the way

Thanks RedEmbers for your input here,over the years which span 49 years since I woke up and realised that I was a medium and began channelling two guides I come to be acquainted with, then started meditating daily and soon found that great spirit the SELF that abides within all humanity, then I
let go of my guides and found my true SELF within

The SELF is ABSOLUTE WISDOM and ABSOLUTE KNOWLEDGE, no other entity
in this universe can give the one who tunes into it, the Absolute Depth of the
SELF.

Finding that Almighty SELF within your being is why we are all here.

The term "expressing oneself spiritually" is certainly one term we could use but there may be others which would work equally well or even better.

My main point was, though, to try to point out that a term used commonly and widely in one sense may be confusing when used for something very different.

Thanks boyce for your input here, yes I agree that the term SELF can mean
many different things to various people. the way I use it here SELF means
that Absolute Intelligence of which this universe emerges from within its
absolute and eternal embrace
