Can anyone here recommend a good introductory book(s) on Spiritualism?

Theres a few but I dont know if they are still in print:
The History of Spiritualism vol 1 and 2 by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sir Arthur wrote some great stuff.
Dreller did a good book about Mediumship Development.
Anything by Silver Birth, Grace Cooke, Estelle Roberts, Sir Oliver Lodge, and there was one something like Rev Vale Owen.
For healing - anything by Harry Edwards.
Heres a link for the SNU free download section for various books:

Thanks, SB and Mac. I'll have to look into these.
I'd be interested in anything by ACD: being a Sherlock Holmes fan.

Everything by Allan Kardec. Surprised nobody has mentioned him.

The books Serenity Bear mentioned 'The History of Spiritualism' vol 1 and 2 can be found on the internet if you don't mind reading from the screen. A number of Spiritualist related books can be downloaded and read this way.
I personally enjoyed reading Arthur Findlay books such as 'On the Edge of the Etheric' and Rock Of Truth.
