Is this Dangerous?
Namaste,
I am looking to increase my psychic abilities and intuition to connect more with higher realms and myself. I am 21 and I love meditation, yoga, and mindfulness but I'm looking to advance in my spirituality more.. feel lighter & more connected to the deeper world around us.
I'm wondering if Astral Projection will connect with dark energy / sleep paralysis... ? I haven't really tried it because I'm scared it might connect me to something I don't want to see lol.

You have to overcome the fear that appears when you start doing it, you may not even experience it, it took me years to actually understand that there's nothing to fear when I was under sleep paralysis, I experienced some nasty things but one day I just decided to face the "terror" and so I discovered that there was nothing to fear, it was all my own doing, the moving shadows, the touching hands, all my own creation.

Sleep paralysis is nothing to be concerned about. It serves the very practical purpose of preventing the physical body from acting out our dreams. For example, dreaming that you are running a marathon - imagine if you were physically enacting all that effort - you would wake up exhausted.
I suspect that people who walk in their sleep do so because of a lack of sleep paralysis.

I see astral projection as the greatest gift.Unfortunately my everyday problems leave no time to practise and learn it.
No matter how dangerous it is,the joy of leaving your body is out of this world.I had the luck to experience it only once so far.

There is no risk in learning astral projection, lucid dreaming, out-of-body experience, if you are mentally sane.
The skill can be used for entertainment or / and for spiritual practice. It can be one of the tools you can employ in the exploration of your inner reality.

You can achieve "astral projection" and more by learning self-hypnosis, and do it every time you want it, for whatever purpose you pursue.
