Any Other Guitar Players?
Playing guitar is my biggest passion... been playing since I was 12 or so... I love writing my own songs and playing covers... The Beatles and CCR are among my favorite classics...
... anyone else a six string enthusiast?

The chord and scale chart is up on the wall :)
I've been slowly collecting pedals, and have a little Blackstar practice amp, which is handy for using headphones. Do you play the electric guitar?

I have both electric and acoustic... lately I've been playing a lot of acoustic on my own just at home... but I was in a little band with some friends for a long time and I played both during that time a lot... I still play electric from time to time... |

Oh great! I'm saving up for a Fender Blues Junior amp at the moment. It will be nice to record some stuff :)

I practiced blues for a while, I lived in Texas where the old gritty blues was popular and we went to a blues club that had a lot of big blues players, quite amazing. I've played guitar on and off since I was a kid, my mom started me taking lessons when I was young.

That sounds great! I started off with Spanish guitar lessons but I wasn't so happy with my teacher. It took me a long time to pick up a guitar again. Do you have any players that you would recommend checking out? |

I'm glad you picked it up again if you enjoy playing! I've had a love/hate relationship with it-I didn't really chose to start playing it it was chosen for me as a kid so I've struggled with it. I'm glad now that I learned it. I never took spanish guitar, I did learn some classical guitar though not enough to be really skilled in it, but I know the basics of it. I think a person could probably spend a few lifetimes learning the guitar lol.
