If you look at the 'source' documents that are used for translations: there is not much difference from each version. The name of God is used in each 'source' document. The cause of the discrepancies is sometimes explained in the preface of each Bible which reads something like this: "Translated by how we want it translated".

I personally don't think so but today here in the UK the Bishops and Officials from the Anglican Church (Church of England) are meeting to decide. If it goes ahead what other Scriptures will they alter to make God Gender neutral, I believe they are opening a can of worms....
