Pertaining to Spiritual Gifts (I Corinthians chapters 12 to 15)
We are all gifted with free will. Some of us are endowed with various gifts of the Spirit, God. All gifts come from God, but we aren't given them willy nilly - we earn them through learning, through experience.
God gave us free will and no body, whether individual or organised, has the right to intervene in this, nor to take it away. God WILL NOT interfere with our choices or decisions. He allowed us free will in order that we do make mistakes, because the only way that we learn is by overcoming, working out and realizing the consequences of our mistakes.
This is the same with the communion with the Spirit world, or the Realms of Light and messages that we receive from these.
There are spirits that inhabit the lower Realms, the Realms that Lucifer rules, and they do try to impress us with their thoughts and ideas - this is temptation. We all come across this in our awakening and we learn by this. We gradually understand the difference between these spirits and the true messengers of the Father/Mother. We learn to differentiate between these as we grow in consciousness and understanding of the Divine Mysteries and the Divine Wisdom of the Father/Mother that is imparted to us.
We understand, as we expand and realize that, if we follow our own intuition and raise our Soulic light we will reach above the lower realms and reach and be reached by the true messengers and servants of God.
We are all like children and must learn like children. You cannot expect a newborn baby to walk and talk - it learns that through a gradual progression of inert nature, teaching and experience and also through trial and error.
If free will were taken from us we would lose our individualism. God guides us and shows us but He never MAKES US DO. He gave us our own pathways of learning and experiences to tread, to make our own way back to Him.
Testing the Spirits is something that we learn to do through experience, whether they be in the physical body or in the Celestial body.
The spirits that tempt us are young souls that haven't much learning - they are like children, just as we are and as we grow we learn to understand this and we put away childish things and grow steadily on our pathway to God.
