Spinning Chakras
Is anyone familiar with the exercise of spinning chakras by using color visualization?
I have come across too many different ways of doing it and wonder which is best and causes no harm.

Iv heard of using either but never together. You usually spin a chakra in a certain direction to open or close them.

I've only recently come accross the idea of focusing visualisations on chakras and possibly because of my artistic skills I couldn't help but visualise my chakras in colour.. not only that but they were spinning fast and through three or four axis... all intertwinned.
My first "manipulation" was to slow them down as I thought fast might be too erratic but since then I've let them speed up and do what ever they want...
I suppose we have our own ways of viewing and understanding chakras and I'd like to think that that personal exploration of what works best for us... is best for us!
One of my recent discoveries is that chakras actually sit in another dimension... I know, that would seem obvious eh?, but they are so big that they overlap when placed on my physical body but they don't overlap when viewed together on a line... so in that respect I don't mind that, say, the heart chakra when visualised strays across the space on my body of other chakras....

thank you for the links iolite, I'll look into them over the weekend.
There is a rather unusual exercise which I've tried only once, that produced a very positive result immediately. It requires that you visualize your body within a cylinder and concentrate on the color of chakra spinning around the part of the body the chakra is in, rather than most others which ask you to visualize on the chakra itself spinning.
