Yeah, I've had those blood tests and apparently everything was okay but I still apparently have 3 out of 4 or more PCOS symptoms.

A GP isn't an OBGYN. An OBGYN is a specialist.

Okay, I've now set up an appointment with my local GP and I'll see him next week.

Have you actually been told it is definitely PCOS? If so it could be the reason your cycles are messed up but it's worth checking to make sure there are no other reasons behind this. You should be able to have an ultrasound which would show if you ovaries contain cysts.

If it is PCOS it can effect your fertility but there are drugs and other things that you can do to increase your fertility when the time comes that you would want to start a family. Losing weight and getting healthy as possible would also help - Hope you realise I mean this in the nicest way possible as i am also overweight and appreciate it is not easy to shift the excess weight.

Good luck and hope everything turns out ok x

Excess Weight Being Hard To Get Off

Something just jogged my memory about this issue.

When we have excess weight that we can’t seem to shed or which piles up when our diet is reasonable this is often an indication that our body is overwhelmed by unfriendly organisms. When we correct the overgrowths the weight will be easy to shed. Candida is very common as are a plethora of unfriendly other organisms that all create acidic waste that increasingly compromises our immune system.

Internal cleanses & supporting the body’s alkalinity (chlorophyll softgels) can correct this imbalance & restore the body’s health. RenewLife has good internal cleanses. FirstCleanse & CleanseSmart. Absolutely use the FirstCleanse first.

This isn’t medical advice or a diagnosis, but what I’ve found useful myself.

Why are you so worried about fertility when you're still a virgin? Shouldn't you be worried more about your health in general? Not having babies?

I also know that weight is a huge factor, as Mattie said. Work on yourself more, the rest will follow Princess.

Because I know eventually I'll lose my virginity and possibly risk pregnancy. Yes I do believe in birth control but at the same time if I have no or little fertility than why bother with birth control when the time comes.

Okay so I had my doctor's appointment today and I had a pap smear, breast exam, and sonogram done. I certainly look like I have PCOS for sure because they did a sonogram of my uterus, it did look normal, except for the folicles/cysts on my ovaries, one of my ovaries even had 7 cysts. The doctor tried to claim that they were just normal folicles inside the ovaries but they looked too much like PCOS cysts. I'm already on Metformin but he may put me on a bc pill that upstarts a "normal" cycle but IDK, I've tried that before and they basically made me bleed too death. Of course he said that it doesn't mean I couldn't get pregnant but it would be harder too. So basically I got confirmed what I kind of feared for a while. If this is the case, I hope IVF treatments work for me because IDK if I could ever adopt.
