I decided to stop taking the flaxseed soft gels, they soften up too quickly and seemed a bit off to me, so I just threw them away. Perhaps I should buy foods that have it in them or look into these chia seeds.

A word of caution here to any Mother's to be or nursing Mother's I know that I was told to stop the use of it while I was with child and nursing as at times too many important nutriants ye take in be flushed out before being absorbed.

Before having the children I had "Potty" issues and recently developed Diverticulitis and the specilaist recommened again a higher fibre diet. I get flax seed and grind it and put it in yougart.

Yes keep it in the fridge infact in the local health food store the raw orgainic seed is in a refigerated case.

NOT the best tasting stuff....but if it keeps the bowels happy that keeps me happy......

I get it milled and I freeze it :) I make smoothies so I grind up the seeds even more :) Great properties and I love the stuff :)
