First of all, never let anybody discourage you. Life the way you want and don't be discouraged. If anything, listen to those people and improve! This could be a sign to help you, not let you down. People only let down themselves, and from what I see, you're letting yourself down extraordinarily well :| Remember, Harriet Tubman and Mother Teresa were criticized and faced horrible acts--did that stop them? No!

I totally agree with Celestial rain! Dont let people tell you who you are, ignore them and continue on your path whilst being yourself not someone others shaoe you into through mean words and lies
