Hits direct

Empathic hits
They strike inside
Directly felt
No where to hide

Sensitivity arises
When harmful blows
Hit your feeling
No where to go

Just into feeling
Feel it now
Feel it fully
Let go
To Zen

No story
No deal
No mind involved
It stirs
It shakes
It jostles
To and fro

No shame, no pain
No story when
How or if
From whom
It sends

Letting blows tear those wounds
Directly let’s the fallen moon
Rise inside
Light the way

Faster than this moving play …

Realisation marks this pain
The moon can’t slow to this chain
What falls, rises once again
Darkened skies, winters blend
Shadows cast
A cosy den

All the while in this way
There’s nothing of you in this play
A story, play not your own
Feel your way
Don’t be the clone

The one caught up in others moans

Taking in, taking hits
From others caught
In their tricks
Jokers pride
Can’t compare

To whispers felt
As your care
Noise and drama
Stops with you
Ending as you feel
Not view

With judgement, claims
Not right, unfair
A broken heart
Cannot repair

When mind alone joins the pride
The untamed lions at your side
Seek their shelter in their ways
There you’ll land on their fallen rays

Moon light in its fullness glows
Lights the darkness
Without the woes
Without entangled troubled mess
Seek the light
Of moonlight zest..

Two nice poems. I really enjoyed the first one as it spoke to me about
how strong our tendencies can be and the tendencies of other minds too.

Thanks Joe.

It’s a whole other playing field, (yet all one and us) that we either blend with and wither, or blend with and bloom..

Yes, our inner world reflects the cycles of nature outside of us, or apparently outside of us. This might sound obvious but often the trajectory of the human race
seems rife on pushing against the natural cycle with silly and dissatisfying results. Although it could be said without this natural push back there is no creativity in terms
of material improvement, so having a natural balance might be the best expression of our lives lived here on earth.
