Yes is did come from Judaism and Jesus was a Jew.
In the OT the Prophets used water/baptism as an outward symbol for internal cleansing. In the NT it seems to symbolise an outward sign of the New Covenant.
Imo only.....

Biblical/Classical Hebrew, slightly different from modern Hebrew. According to the NT Jesus also spoke Hebrew which is understandable considering His exceptional education...

Jesus was also a carpenter which might mean he knew about a 3 4 5 triangle (an important aspect of geometry).

The Ancient Greek noun 'Tektōn' is a term used for a artisan/craftsman, in particular a carpenter, woodworker, or builder.

If you look at late 'Talmudic' texts the term 'Craftsman' is used as a metaphor for a skilled handler of the word of God. Interesting imo....

Good thing those Dead Sea Scrolls were found! And the Rosetta Stone - with 2 languages and THREE writing systems.
All those compacted in that Middle Eastern region!

so i thought about this all day, but honestly jesus as much as said it wasn't his time yet and why was she bothering him? So it almost seems to me like the son was being sent on an errand to the grocery store to get needed items for a party, and he begrudgingly aquiesced. The only really remarkable part of the story being the way he aquiesced.... few will admit to being able to do that, to this day.

So I can't honestly say I believe he was intending to be teaching things here. It is just the way life worked out...

It appears Jesus spoke at least three languages: Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.

Little factoid for fun: All of the dead sea scrolls pre-date Jesus so Jesus is not found in any of them. Where are ancient records mentioning Jesus? One example a small fragment of papyrus with portions of the Gospel of John (18:36-19:7) on both sides in Greek. It has been dated to the second century A.D.4 This text is part of the Oxyrhynchus papyri, a group of manuscripts discovered in the ancient garbage dump near Oxyrhynchus, Egypt.

Somebody threw them away long, long time ago so they ended up in a dump. Strange eh! But I assume not needed as copies of the bible have existed all through time after put together by Church.

I wonder how could somebody learn 3 languages in those days? Maybe Mary and Joseph knew several languages so spoke them in the home? Maybe a relative or grandparent came over and spoke a different language to toddler Jesus? That reminds me isn't someone in the bible referred to as Jesus's brother? If he had a brother, I would guess he would have spoke the same languages as Jesus.

I would guess Jesus spoke Aramaic as everyone did at that time and place. I assume his parents spoke it. Then they were all Jews so he would learn Hebrew as part of their religious classes and training.

As for the Greek, according to Matthew 2:13–21, Joseph took Mary and Jesus into Egypt to escape Herod. There Mary and Joseph would have needed to communicate in Greek. So living there Jesus could have picked up Greek.

Matthew 2:13-21
New International Version
The Escape to Egypt
13 When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.”14 So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt, 15 where he stayed until the death of Herod.
