Why is it a sin? Why is it more a sin than the medical profession interfering to keep people alive beyond their sell-by. The god-botherers never think that medical interference is a sin. Who on earth do these medics think they are??? You can't cherry-pick how you interfere with life/death.
It always worries me what happens when they find a cure for Alzheimers - what will it expose beyond? Keep you alive in a vegitative state until you're 130?
As mum says, in her young days almost no one went down with Alzheimers. So is it because people live longer? Longer and sicker?
In any event it is our choice, not that of some fanatical religion. It's only a sin if you want to believe that. There's likewise a belief that you simply return to the world of Spirit, get cleansed ready for the next round.I fall in that camp.
